Head of Boroujerd Industry Department: 28.5% of Lorestan mining industry is located in Boroujerd city.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hamid Azadbakht stated: In order to issue mining licenses in the province, Boroujerd city constitutes the licenses of about 11% of the total province.
He specified: Boroujerd has 22 mines of talc, silica, feldspar. Sand, carcasses, rocks. Granite, of which 19 are active mines.
The head of Boroujerd Industry Department pointed out: Boroujerd has 143 mining industry units, of which 114 units are active and the rest are inactive.
Azadbakht added: "Due to the existence of good mining potentials in Boroujerd, the issuance of licenses for the establishment of new mines has been 35, which unfortunately has decreased.
