Holding specialized roundtables with the presence of large and small mineral units and observing health protocols will be one of the programs of this international exhibition. The 16th International Exhibition of Mining, Mining Industries, Mining Machinery and Equipment, Road Construction and Related Industries, entitled IranKanmin, is scheduled to be held in February this year by Iran Mining House, Palar Samaneh Company and German company IMAG in cooperation with the Mining Network. Mohammad Reza Bahraman, the head of the Mining House, said about the Iran-Kanamin exhibition event: "This exhibition will definitely be held at the Tehran International Exhibition on February 2nd to 5th." Due to the important role of mining in the country's economy and introducing it to the world, we try to hold the exhibition well.

Regarding the difference between this exhibition and the events of previous periods, he said: "The difference between this exhibition and previous periods is that foreign exhibitors will be less present due to the global corona issue and travel bans." Of course, in terms of sanctions, it should be said that sanctions do not have much effect on this event, because we have witnessed the presence of foreigners in this event in the past, despite the sanctions. In addition, if a foreign company intends to participate in this exhibition, they must pass the necessary health tests.

Holding an exhibition in accordance with the protocol

The head of the Mining House continued: "We will hold this exhibition in compliance with all the necessary health protocols." Our goal is to keep the mining sector dynamic and vibrant, because this year, like last year, a large part of the country's economy relies on mining, which is quite evident in the export sector. Through the mining sector, we were able to compensate for a large part of the country's foreign exchange earnings, which had decreased.

Bahraman added: "Another positive approach in the field of mining in the field of localization is one of the important issues and we are pursuing its expansion." Another part that needs a lot of attention is in the field of startups, which we will see new movements in this exhibition.

Bahraman pointed out: "Our provinces will be active in this exhibition and we are trying to have small units in the exhibition." The head of the Mining House said about export and import tariffs and its impact on the exhibition: "Normally, any decision we make will affect imports and exports." We are now facing a shortage of machinery, and one of the complaints of the miners is that they cannot import our machinery on time, and this shortage has caused us to face shortages in the production sector and to work with very low quality machines. These problems have nothing to do with sanctions and are related to the policies of the central bank, which has caused great damage to the manufacturing sector. In this exhibition, we want to introduce the achievements of the domestic industry and thank those who have achieved in these unfavorable conditions in the industry and mining.

He continued: "Our industries performed very well in the field of manufacturing inside heavy machinery and were flourishing." Our goal is for Hepco to be able to showcase its achievements in the mining machinery sector. The Mining Insurance Fund will be present at the fair with a new plan to rehabilitate the mines. Large mining units will definitely be present and we will try to have specialized roundtables in this field. Of course, if health protocols allow, we will try to hold specialized meetings in this exhibition.
