Employment of 2300 people in rehabilitated mines

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Seyed Reza Azimi stated: This year, out of a total of 176 rehabilitated mines, 58 mines in the metal sector, 34 metal mines, 52 decorative stone mines and 32 mines of construction materials have been rehabilitated and activated.
The manager of the small mines rehabilitation and activation project stated: This number of activated mines has created 2302 job opportunities in different parts of the country. Also, the total production tonnage of these mines is more than 5.3 million tons.
He added: "In total, from the beginning of this year to the end of December, 781 (inactive) mines have been identified and prioritized, and clinical action has been taken on 376 mines." During this period, 12 processing plants have been built with the cooperation of the private sector.
According to Azimi, Imidro has been launching a project to rehabilitate and activate small mines since last year. The implementation of this project is the responsibility of the Minerals Production Company (Imidro subsidiary).
