Head of Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of South Khorasan: 12 mining areas of this province will be handed over to new investors through public auctions.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Abbas Jorjani stated: 12 mining areas with exploration licenses in South Khorasan province will be handed over to the applicants with the necessary conditions through an auction, and this auction started on Thursday, January 4, until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 20. January continues.

He added: "These areas include minerals such as gypsum, decorative stone, iron, polymetal, industrial soil, copper and marble, which will be handed over to new investors through public auctions."

The Secretary of the Mining Council of South Khorasan Province emphasized: The participants in the auction must have a certificate of competence of technical and financial ability necessary to perform mining activities.

He said: "Investors should refer to the government's electronic procurement system at www.setadiran.ir to register for the auction."

Jorjani stressed the need to carefully study the conditions and information of the auction by the applicants and stated: All the conditions and steps of participating in the auction, relevant forms and basic information required by the applicants in the portal of the South Khorasan Silence Organization at www.khs.mimt.gov.ir And Soroush channel of the organization has been uploaded to sapp.ir/skimto97.

He added: "Conducting mineral auctions and liberating mines, followed by creating new investment opportunities in mines and mining industries, as well as determining the task of stagnant and inactive mining areas in the year of the production leap, are among the important priorities of the Silence Organization of the province."

Despite rich reserves of coal, coke and iron, magnesite, bentonite, chromite, marble, andalusite, basalt, potash, copper and gold, industrial soils and the formation of the steel cycle, South Khorasan ranks seventh in the country in terms of reserves and active mines and related employment. It ranks fourth in the country.

Of the 65 known minerals in Iran, 50 are in South Khorasan.
