Letter from the Attorney General to the Governor of the Central Bank in support of production
In a letter to the Governor of the Central Bank in order to support production, the Attorney General has emphasized the implementation of the Unity Procedure Decision No. 794 of the Supreme Court.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mohammad Jafar Montazeri wrote in the letter of Abdolnasser Hemmati: According to the unanimous decision No. 794 dated 21.05.99 of the General Assembly of the Supreme Court, based on the last part of Article 471 of the Code of Criminal Procedure And other authorities, whether judicial or not, are required to comply.
He added: "Failure to comply with this in regulatory contracts by banks will lead to numerous lawsuits by manufacturing companies that are parties to the contract with the banks that provide facilities, which requires a lot of time and creates many obstacles and problems."
Montazeri stated in the letter: "Therefore, in order to support industries and the prosperity of domestic production in order to achieve a resilient economy, it is appropriate to order in order to correct the facilities contracts concluded by producers with banks regarding contracts before the date of unanimous procedure." The lawsuits in the courts and its observance in future contracts should be announced to the banks and they should be informed of the outcome of this reference.
