Five million housing units will be built over the next five years
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced the announcement of a plan for the next five years in the field of housing to build five million housing units and said: The Ministry of Jihad Agriculture will allocate 750,000 hectares of land to implement the National Housing Action Plan.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, "Mahmoud Mahmoudzadeh" in the ceremony of honoring and introducing the director of the National Land and Housing Organization, referring to the volume of duties of this organization, called it the beating heart of the housing department of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
He also announced the announcement of the housing plan for the next five years to build five million housing units and said: "These decisions are part of the long-term plans of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and do not belong to a specific government."
Regarding the progress of the National Housing Action Plan, Mahmoudzadeh explained: "With the efforts of all officials in the relevant fields, we have so far succeeded in providing land for about 200,000 housing units."
Expressing the problems between the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Natural Resources Organization, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: "According to the initial agreement, about 250,000 hectares of land will be transferred from the Natural Resources Organization to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development." The Minister of Jihad for Agriculture has also announced his readiness to transfer another 750,000 hectares of land.
The Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development considered the development of new rules and regulations according to the new economic conditions of the country as one of the other things that can create a change in the field of housing in the country.
