Governor of South Khorasan: We have announced that due to the importance of the issue, we will be one of the leading provinces in the implementation of the program of handing over inactive mines to qualified investors.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hamid Melanouri said in a symposium of investors in the field of mining, lead, zinc and steel: "We do not want to waste time and injure or destroy the resources we have, so the ability and Investor competence is very important to us.

He added: "In the discussion of exploiting the resources we have, we do not want to waste time until a few years later, these meetings are repeated and say that the correct reserves have not been used.

The governor of South Khorasan said: "This issue is also on the agenda of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade and soon the license of inactive mines will be revoked to provide conditions for the entry of real and qualified investors, which we have also announced due to the importance of the issue." , In the implementation of this program, we will be among the leading and pioneering provinces.

He added: "Unfortunately, in the past, in many areas, people have entered the field of exploration and exploitation of mines just for the sake of interest, which due to lack of competence, inability and lack of necessary skills, destroys both their capital and national resources." They have enslaved and closed the way for exploitation and growth.

Referring to the mineral capacities of South Khorasan in the field of coal, copper, gold, iron ore and other minerals, Melanouri called them unique and said: "Despite such talents, we have not yet been able to truly succeed in the exploitation of mines."

He continued: "During the past years, good measures have been taken in the field of exploration, investment and exploitation of mines, which is commendable, but what has been done is very small compared to the wealth that exists in the province's mines."

The word deprivation does not beautify South Khorasan

He lamented that South Khorasan has been introduced as a deprived province and said: "The word deprivation is not beautiful for a province with all its resources, resources, scientific and academic centers and talented and intelligent people, so we tend to exploit it." From mines and setting up industrial units in the direction of the economic leap of the province.

The governor of South Khorasan emphasized: the realization of a part of this goal will be based on the activation of popular groups and local communities.

Referring to the approach of large industrial and production units, he said: "The plan of most large units is to break their shell and come to the aid of small units."

Melanouri continued: "This is the rule, someone who, due to his experience, knowledge and expertise, has reached empowerment after many years, should come to the aid of others and make efforts to empower them."

He said: We are all obliged to publish it in order to pay zakat on the knowledge we have.

The governor of South Khorasan, emphasizing that we welcome the presence of private sector investors to exploit the province's mineral reserves, added: "With the entry and investment of the private sector, we hope that the people of the province will be active in the near future and enter this scene."

Work time is important for the management of the province

He pointed out: the time of doing the work, as important as it is for the investor to be able to see the return of his investment in the defined period, is also important for us for the development of the province.

Melanouri mentioned employment as another issue considered in entering the mining fields and said: "We have about 30,000 unemployed young people looking for work in the province, and we must create a suitable environment for their employment."

He described the creation of real added value as one of the most important goals of the province in terms of entering the mineral and agricultural capacities and added: "It is not logical and appropriate that the reserves of a mine are difficult to extract and easily leave the province and even the country." We are that if the mineral reserves are exploited, that material, as far as possible, in the context of different industrial units, will be transformed into many different products, reach real added value, and then leave the region.

The governor of South Khorasan stated: In this rule, some issues and restrictions such as the water capacity of the processing unit are also considered.

He said: to realize this program, we are looking to create small-scale processing units next to the mines of the province.

Melanouri continued his speech by referring to the "Khavaran Development Document" and said: "One of our most important goals in this document is to negotiate, talk and guide investors who want to be present in the province to receive comprehensive information upon arrival and also to facilitate the situation." To get started, minimize the time it takes to get started.

He continued: "In the form of this headquarters, we are looking for development targets for different cities and regions, so that the private sector and large investment units that have the necessary capabilities in various fields as the focus of activity, to develop cultural and social issues." And economics in different regions.

He said: "These groups, in response to their social responsibilities, help us to strengthen the development thinking, courage, boldness and self-confidence of the people of the province to come to the fore and help the development of South Khorasan."
