The Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization announced the identification of 125 abandoned mines in this province and said: these mines will be put up for auction after inquiring from the relevant authorities.

Ghasemi mentioned the release of blocked mining areas as another program of the production leap year for the development of mining activities in the province and said: "In this regard, several mining areas will be released on January 14 and put up for auction, which is a big step to attract investors in mining. He cited environmental and natural resource constraints as the most important obstacle to attracting investors to the province's mines, adding: "Although these agencies have arguments for not agreeing to exploration in these areas, they believe that the region's tranquility is disturbed and forest resources are destroyed. On the other hand, there are valuable mineral resources in these areas, which can be extracted to create a great change in the province.
According to this report, the annual income of the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari mines sector in the Tadbir and Omid government has increased by 35%, equivalent to 12 billion rials, compared to the previous government.
671 billion rials have been invested in the mining sector of this province and more than one hundred jobs have been created.
