Head of Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Markazi Province: One thousand and 100 billion Rials of government salaries for mines were received in this province this year, which has increased by 101% compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Saeed Jafari Karrouhroudi announced the news, adding: "According to the law, the government rights of the mines will be paid to the state treasury and 15% of it will be returned to the province to develop the activities of this economic field."
He stated: 1,189 billion rials were invested by the private sector in the mines of Markazi province this year, which has increased by 10% compared to the same period last year.
The head of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Markazi Province, stating that investment in the province's mines by the private sector has led to more than 184 job opportunities in this field, added: 22 exploration licenses, 32 discovery certificates and 35 mining exploitation licenses in Different parts of this region have been issued, which in the field of discovery certificate has increased by 60% compared to last year, but no change has been made in other parts.
Jafari stated that the definite mineral reserves of Markazi province are 7 million 471 thousand tons and said: more than 42 types of minerals have been identified in the province and facilities for extraction of tungsten, tin and molybdenum, gold, copper, andalusite, black marble, granite, minerals Precious and ornamental include turquoise, chrysocola, jasper, azurite and malachite, opal, quartz crystal, erpiman (arsenic sulfur), bentonite and calcite in the area.
He added: "Mines are the focal point in the field of business and income generation and the promotion of sustainable development, and their share in the field of production and raising gross national income should be well seen."
Markazi province with about 550 mines and annual extraction of 14 million tons of minerals, ranks seventh in the country and so far out of 57 types of minerals in the country, 42 types have been identified in Markazi province, of which 35 types of minerals in this region Is exploited.
