Annual extraction of more than 14 million tons of Ilam mines
Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Ilam Industry Organization: The reserves of the province's mines are about one billion tons and the annual nominal extraction rate of these mines is about 14 million and one hundred thousand tons.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Nabi Samavati stated: Of the 68 types of minerals identified in the country, 15 types include limestone alluvium, bitumen, clay, limestone, gypsum, siliceous sand, mountain sand, shale, Calcite, siliceous sandstone, carcass and malone, marl, celestine, rock salt and anhydrite are available in Ilam province.
He said that the reserves of the province's mines are about one billion tons and the annual nominal extraction rate of these mines is about 14 million and one hundred thousand tons, he said: the province's key minerals are bitumen, gypsum, limestone, sand and alluvium.
Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Ilam Industry Organization stated: At present, there are 5 valid exploration licenses in the field of mines in the province with employment of 20 people.
Samavati continued: in the first 9 months of this year, 2 valid exploration certificates in the field of sand minerals, dolomitic limestone have been issued.
The Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Ilam Industry Organization clarified about the number of permanent exploitation licenses: As of December this year, 6 exploitation licenses have been issued and currently 54 valid licenses with a nominal extraction capacity of about 9 million tons and an investment of 740 Billion Rials and employment of 470 people is active.
Samavati said: by the end of December of this year, 30 licenses for temporary sand extraction of houses with a nominal annual capacity of 1,500,000 tons and employment of 180 people have been extended.
He continued: the government salary received from the miners in the mentioned period is 14 billion Rials and the amount of actual mining tonnage in the province during the first nine months of this year is about 3.2 million tons.
Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Ilam Industry Organization, stating that this year a marl mine has been rehabilitated and a bitumen discovery certificate and a bitumen exploitation license have been done, said: since the beginning of this year, 5 mining industry exploitation licenses have been issued.
Samavati specified: the number of exploitation licenses in the field of mining industries of the province is 228 and includes units for the production of cement, plaster, brick, sand, asphalt, liquid concrete and concrete parts, bituminous powder, the most important of which can be Ilam cement, Dehloran Cement, South Jewel Gypsum, Marbare Gypsum, Negarin Brick and Naghshineh Brick.
He stated that one of the main problems of the miners in the province is the existence of local opposition, wear and tear of mining transport and loading machinery, he specified: miners expect support from the government in the form of low-profit facilities for replacement and Replacement of transport machines should be provided.
