The official continued: "Economic and technical feasibility study of 15 investment projects in the downstream area of ​​aluminum (Lamerd) has been formulated, which will be presented to applicant investors."

Fadaei Mellat added: Completing and upgrading infrastructure and infrastructure, identifying and introducing more investment opportunities to economic actors as two basic strategies to enhance the position of Lamerd Special Economic Zone, which is now the main result of these efforts.

Referring to the follow-ups done to complete the infrastructure of Lamerd Special Economic Zone, he said: The access road around the Lamerd site is 44 km in the area of ​​this industrial complex and the peripheral road in the development area is 22 km long and the arterial and side roads inside the site. Fadaei Mellat added: "Also, the flood dam on the western side of this complex, with a length of eight and a half kilometers and a credit of more than 100 billion rials, with the aim of protecting industries, has been completed and put into operation."

He said: during the operation of this industrial unit, a 400 kV power line was implemented with the aim of supplying electricity to this complex, and the other line of this high-voltage power plant is in the final stages, and some of the other aluminum boilers in this special area will arrive soon. The CEO of Lamerd Special Economic Zone continued: The construction of a 132 kV substation and a 100 MW power plant is one of the other projects in the field of electricity strengthening in this special zone, which will be financed and implemented by the Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (Imidro).

He added: Installation and implementation of 2 desalination plants to desalinate water required by industries with a capacity of 60 liters per second is one of the other measures of this industrial complex, which is currently being used at 20 liters per second and conditions of use for other industries are being established. Concluding several memoranda of understanding for investment development

The CEO of Lamerd Special Economic Zone also stated: "With the motivation of developing investment in this special zone, several memorandums have been concluded, including a memorandum of cooperation with the Vice President for Science and Technology to provide low-cost facilities to buyers of machinery and equipment." Concluding a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Roads for the development of roads in the Lamerd Special Economic Zone

He added: in the framework of Imidro Memorandum of Understanding, Larestan General Administration of Roads and Urban Development and Fars Governorate with the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development to improve access roads to Lamerd Special Zone, asphalt paving and road widening (first lane) from the Special Zone site to the entrance of the city And the construction of the second lane of this route, the implementation of the non-coplanar intersection of the entrance and exit and the Lamerd belt to the Lamerd-Parsian freeway are other clauses of this memorandum, which will be done with the participation of 50% of the parties.

Willingness of 40 investors to invest in Lamerd Special Zone

The CEO of Lamerd Special Economic Zone said: "During the last 20 months, 74 groups of investors visited the Lamerd Special Economic Zone and after explaining the capacities and investment packages for them, about 30 to 40 of them were willing to invest in this area."
