Golestan producers say that the stoning of banks to pay for facilities in order to revive stagnant production units in Golestan is too much.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, a significant part of the production capacity in Golestan province is dormant due to many problems and the wheel of industry in the province is not turning well and banks are throwing stones to pay for facilities in the field of production.

Golestan has a thousand production units, most of which are operating with a minimum capacity. Manufacturers complain about the stoning of banks to pay for facilities in order to revive stagnant production units and increase production and employment, and believe that receiving facilities in the field of intermediation and brokerage is much easier than production.

Officials believe that the main problem of production units in the province is working capital and liquidity; The governor of Golestan said in this regard: "One of the problems of Golestan production units is the problem of working capital and efforts have been made to solve part of this problem by paying production boom facilities."

Hadi Haghshenas added: In the last 9 months, 689 billion Tomans of production boom facilities have been paid in the province and Golestan has been one of the top three provinces in the country in paying facilities in this field.

Noting that the payment of this amount of prosperity facilities shows the attention of the private sector in the province and the positive performance of banks, he pointed to the problems of Golestan production units and specified: In the past two years, due to the prevalence of corona and sanctions, Iran's economy experienced negative growth. It is natural that when there is no customer and demand, supply is not formed and Golestan enterprises faced a decrease in production.

The governor of Golestan, stating that these issues and the reduction of trade and the recession that prevailed in a part of the economy have caused serious damage to the province's production units, added: "We hope to see more prosperity in the province's industrial prosperity by paying production boom facilities this year and next." Let's be.

Financing is the main challenge of production

But one of the economic activists and producers of Golestan, who has returned five stagnant industrial units to the production cycle in the last one or two years, believes that providing financial resources (working capital and fixed capital) is still the most important challenge in increasing production and employment in the province.

Hamidpour said: "In recent years, we have returned four stagnant production units in Gomishan industrial town and one of the production units in Turkmen port to the production cycle and financing is still the main challenge."

He explained: "In the current situation where some production units in the province and the country are facing the challenge of supplying raw materials, we have solved this challenge by setting up a recycling unit and supplying raw materials from domestic petrochemicals."

Emphasizing that supporting the production sector in the province is not enough, the Golestani producer continued: "Although we do not have infrastructure problems in supplying water and electricity and production units, and the existing infrastructure meets the needs of producers, the challenge of financing is facing Golestani producers."

He added: "So far, we have not received any facilities to return the stagnant units of the province to the production cycle;" If the officials support and the banks cooperate, we can create 100 new jobs in the province by receiving about 50 billion Tomans of facilities (about 15 billion Tomans of working capital and 35 billion Tomans of fixed capital).

Emphasizing that the support for the production sector in the province is not enough, Hamadpour stated: If the financial support increases, the ground for increasing production and developing exports from Golestan will be provided.

We were careless in receiving facilities by stoning the banks

Another Golestani producer criticized the lack of support to return production units to the production cycle and said: "So far, I have not received any facilities for activating three stagnant production units in Aq Qala industrial town, and about 15 people are currently in production units. We are busy.

Habibollah Zari added: "Banks give a thousand and one excuses for not paying the facilities to the production sector, and the stone-throwing exhausts the producer and we become careless in receiving bank facilities."

He continued by explaining that if sufficient financial resources are provided, the field of employment of 100 people in our production unit will be provided. I did not have.

Nazari, who works in the field of bag production, added: "In the current situation, we have enough space to set up the machine, and if we are supported and provided with financial resources, we can become entrepreneurs, but the producer is not supported and the producers stand on their own two feet." Not supported.

"We do not want to support the authorities; "They should not be stoned or harassed," he explained. "Machinery and equipment are to increase domestic production, and weaving machines can be provided in the country, in which case exports can be increased to destinations such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Turkmenistan and so on."

25% of the province's industrial units are stagnant

Deputy Minister of Industrial Affairs of Golestan Industry Organization stated: Golestan is 985 industrial units, according to which 25% of them are currently stagnant.

Reza Shahmoradi, stating that currently 146 units with licensed employment of 2,779 people in Golestan are stagnant, explained: Since 2016, the headquarters to facilitate and eliminate barriers to production to help finance the launched production units a significant part of the problems Dropped.

Deputy Minister of Industry Affairs of Golestan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization continued: Currently, many production units in the province are facing the challenge of supplying raw materials.

He also pointed to the problems of production units to receive facilities from banks and said: even if we ignore the strictness of some banks to pay facilities, but the payment of 18% interest is high for the production sector and we are pursuing facility profits in less developed industrial provinces. Decrease.

Although officials believe that the payment of production boom facilities has solved a significant part of the problems of the province's production units in recent years, but from the producers' point of view, financing (working capital and fixed capital) is still the main challenge to return stagnant units to the production cycle.
