Saeed Afzalipour, head of the Mining House in Yazd province, believes that the resignation of the head of the Mining House of Iran followed a protest against the parliament's insistence on amending the mining law, but there was also a glimpse of youthfulness behind this resignation.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Reza Bahraman, the head of the Iran Mining House, launched a big news wave in the field of mining with his resignation. Although many experts and activists in the field have welcomed his resignation as "youthful", others believe that there are other issues behind his resignation, the most important of which is the "reform of the mining law" in the Islamic Consultative Assembly. There is a lot of news about it these days.

Saeed Afzalipour, head of Yazd Province Mining House, says: "Any change in different collections does not necessarily lead to youthfulness, because the board also needs youthfulness, but his resignation is not thought to be related to youthfulness or meritocracy, and mostly because It is the reform of the mining law that has been key in the parliament, and the members of parliament have had several meetings with mining organizations, and it seems that the parliament's insistence on advancing this law has led them to resign. What confirms this claim is his resignation at a time when the number of sessions to determine the task of this law has increased.

He continued: "By amending the Mining Law, the private sector will be practically eliminated, because according to the representatives, the mining license will expire by the end of each government and must be auctioned again in the next government, and on the other hand, exploration during exploitation." They have canceled that this will block the discovery of new reserves.

Afzalipour added: "Certainly, new energy and motivation can help the mining sector, but the problem is that as long as they feel they are useful in decision-making, they are motivated to continue working, but when they are practically deaf, they are naturally interested in They lose their job. Naturally, the issue of his resignation is also related to this issue, otherwise, if someone decides to turn to youth, he will not be a candidate in the next board elections. The resignation seems to be more of a protest, which is also due to the lack of attention to the word of the organizations.
