Launching inactive mines
Head of Mazandaran Province Mining House: The Supreme Council of Mines has an important role in activating the country's mines. The High Council of Mines is one of the most important decision-making centers in the mining sector, which has more power than some relevant institutions. Since the last word is said in the mining section of the Supreme Council of Mines, it is possible to activate the closed mines with a principled planning.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, it is completely true that half of the country's mines are inactive. In the meantime, sometimes some mines that have weak activity can be considered semi-active and sometimes inactive.
The operators of these mines only try to maintain their mining license so that they are not included in Article 20. Regarding Article 20 of the Mining Law, it should be said that mines that are not very efficient and can not function properly after receiving several warnings are referred to the Supreme Council of Mines through the Provincial Industry, Mining and Trade Organization to have their exploitation licenses revoked.
Regarding the importance of reviving the imprisoned mines and as a result of currency and job creation for the country, it should be said that in general, the mine is the basis of the country's production.
When the country's mines become active, some form of currency appreciation and economic development also begins, as mining activity automatically moves upstream and downstream industries.
Rural development is also boosted by the mining boom. Since most of the mines are located in deprived and remote areas, paying attention to them causes the villages to develop as well.
For example, with the growth of mining activities in the northern and western provinces, where there is a large concentration of population, we can see a boom in employment.
As a result of mining activities, while workers are working, negative migration from rural to urban areas can also be observed.

Considering the problems that exist for mining activists in the country, it should be said that one of the things that can play a role in mining activities is the coordination between natural resources, the environment and the mining sector. Unfortunately, we see that each of these institutions speaks for itself and is not willing to interact with each other.
This is especially evident in the northern provinces due to the vastness of forests and pastures. If the mining rehabilitation plan is implemented properly, there will be significant job creation and currency appreciation.
To solve this problem, the law must have the last word. Compassionate professionals also examine barriers and provide guidance.
In the end, it should be said that if there is the necessary will in the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, it will be possible to start inactive mines.
