The economic future of Ardestan is determined by the mining sector
Governor of Ardestan: Due to the volume of mines in the city, the economic future of Ardestan will be determined by the mining sector.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hamidreza Tameli stated in the investment council and removal of barriers to production in the city: considering the volume of mines in the city, the economic future of Ardestan will determine the mining sector, but now this field is flourishing. And maturity is a long way off.
He said that mining, like other economic sectors, is the arena of big business, adding: "The presence of large mining companies in Ardestan city has become more prominent in the past decade, which will be promising golden days in the mining sector."
The governor of Ardestan, stating that unfortunately, considering the activities of the miners in the past, today the mine is not a well-known part from the perspective of social view in the country, clarified: officials and miners themselves should try to correct this attitude in society.
Reflecting that following up the issues and problems of mines and solving needs is one of the important matters that have always been done within the framework of regulations and we hope that everyone will fulfill their role and mission in the city, noted: Ardestan city in the field of mines in the province The reason is the capacity and reserves and their issues are always pursued.
Referring to the activities of 49 mines in Ardestan city, which have provided direct employment for 450 people, he clarified: Employment is the most important result of paying attention to the mines of the city, which can employ tens of people directly or indirectly. If we are going to reach a point in Ardestan where the mining sector becomes the first factor in the development of the city, the necessary infrastructure must be created for serious and appropriate mining activities in the city.
The main problem of Ardestan mines is fuel shortage
The head of the city's industry, mining and trade department also announced that the most important problem of Ardestan mines is the inconvenience of villagers to prevent activity and lack of processing facilities in the city and said: Ardestan mines have burned more than 3 million and 600 liters of fuel since the beginning of this year. But the main problem of Ardestan mines is the lack of diesel fuel. Lack of water for better exploitation and facilities is another problem for miners.
Mohammad Reza Bagheri, stating that 101 mining licenses have been issued in the city so far, said: "Currently, 18 exploration licenses have been issued for miners in the city." The most important mining activities in Ardestan are in the fields of extraction of lead, zinc, barite, copper, extraction of travertine and granite.
