The Leader of the Revolution agrees with the re-examination of the FATF bills in the Expediency Council

The Supreme Leader of the Revolution agreed to reconsider the FATF in the Assembly, but this agreement does not mean the approval of these bills.
According to the International Exhibition of Iranian Stone, in recent days, Leia Junidi, Vice President for Legal Affairs, announced in an interview that the Supreme Leader agreed to extend the review of the FATF bills in the Expediency Council, referring to a letter from the Supreme Leader of the Revolution. An extension of the consideration of the remaining bills related to the treaties had been requested, he said: he agreed and referred the matter to the esteemed assembly.
Some saw the Supreme Leader's agreement as his approval of the FATF, but this claim is not true. According to the Assembly's by-laws, if the Assembly does not decide on the referral dispute between the Assembly and the Guardian Council after one year, the Guardian Council's decision will be strong, and the same process has been followed for these bills.
In this regard, in a letter to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, the President has requested the extension of this deadline, and he has agreed, but this agreement only concerns the review of these bills and does not mean its approval or rejection.
In this regard, Hojjatoleslam Dori Najafabadi also stated yesterday: "Some people think that the possibility of re-examining the FATF means the final approval and approval of this bill, while re-examination means further discussion and further consideration in this regard and does not necessarily mean approval or disapproval." that's not.
