According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, in the first eight months of this year, the number of all mining and investment licenses issued for the issuance of exploration certificates has increased compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the employment rate due to the issuance of mining licenses in this period, which had been reduced before, has improved again in the mentioned period this year and shows a growth of 2.4 percent compared to the first eight months of last year.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, from the beginning of this year to the end of November, 647 exploration licenses were issued, which compared to 575 items issued in the first eight months of last year, had a growth of 12.5 percent, which is the highest growth in Issuance of mining licenses.

According to these statistics, the issuance of operating licenses shows a growth of 5.9 percent compared to the same period last year. In the first eight months of this year, 410 exploitation licenses were issued, which is an increase of 387 mining licenses compared to the same period last year.

In the first eight months of last year, 322 certificates of discovery were issued, which in the same period this year (1399) has increased to 339 and has grown by 5.3 percent.

Also in these eight months, the capital of licenses issued for mining certificates, which was equivalent to the cost of exploration operations, increased by 9%. During this period, 884 billion rials have been spent on exploration operations; If in the same period last year, about 774 billion rials were spent.

In addition, due to the issuance of operating licenses, which in the first seven months of this year compared to the same period last year, showed a decrease in employment in this area, in total eight months of this year again has increased the number of employees. From the beginning of this year to the end of November, 3365 people have been employed; While in the same period last year, the employment rate in this area was 3287 people. Thus, the employment rate in this area has grown by 2.4 percent compared to last year.
