Implementation of 10 infrastructure projects in the mining sector in Bushehr

Head of Mines Affairs Department of Bushehr Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: The implementation of 10 mining infrastructure projects was implemented in this province with the cooperation of the Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration Organization.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Rashid Moradi stated: Bushehr mineral capacity of sedimentary rocks in terms of definite storage, number of mines in operation, the amount of extraction and production of minerals has a good position in the country that requires infrastructure and units Further processing will support this section.
He added: "One of the important needs of Bushehr mining sector is the lack of mineral processing units, which creates added value, investment and employment in the province, and in this regard, it is necessary to consider the necessary arrangements and incentives for investment."
He reminded: At present, 200 mining industries are active in the field of sand processing, gypsum, hydrated lime and sedimentary calcium carbonate and three units of cement factories (mortar, Mand Dashti and Dashtestan) in the province.
Moradi continued: this number with an investment volume of 863 billion and 535 million Tomans and employment of 3,500 people has a 37% share of the province's industrial units.
He said: "The construction of new mineral processing projects called hydrated lime and calcium carbonate industries in gypsum industries is under construction by the private sector, which has made good physical progress."
The head of the Mines Department of the Bushehr Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization stated: Considering that most of Bushehr's minerals are exported to the Persian Gulf countries, the lack of necessary infrastructure for mineral exports, especially wharves and specialized export terminals, is another issue in this sector. Is a province.
He announced: The construction of a mineral export wharf in the Khorshahab area of Tangestan city is planned to solve this problem, which is currently in the study stage.
The head of the Mines Affairs Department of the Bushehr Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization added: "Also, 9 infrastructure projects for electricity supply and construction of access roads are on the agenda, and the implementation of 4 projects began this year."
Regarding the target market of Bushehr minerals, Moradi said: The destination of the province's mining products in the field of industry includes cement, gypsum and lime for export to the Persian Gulf countries and Bangladesh, India and Africa, but lime is also sent to the southern provinces of the country.
The head of the Mines Affairs Department of the Industry, Mining and Trade Organization of Bushehr Province said: The lime extracted from the Bushehr mines meets the needs of Hormozgan, Khuzestan, Fars and Kerman provinces in the field of steel industries and factories.
He added: Bushehr has 258 mines with exploitation licenses that are a mixture of mountain (sand), building stones (carcasses - high-quality limestone), dovomite; Blue and rock salts, cement raw materials and gypsum have the largest volume.
The head of the Mines Department of the Bushehr Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization added: At present, there are 130 active mines in the province, of which 6 million tons have been extracted in the first half of the year, and the amount of government salaries received from mines by the end of November this year is 2 billion 600 million tomans, which has increased by 24% compared to the same period last year.
He said: the volume of investment in the mines of the province is equal to 94 billion and 720 thousand tomans and one thousand and 352 people are employed in this sector.
Moradi announced: Exploratory studies of Gostars Organization and Mining and Mineral Industries Renovation (Imidro), Geological Survey and Mineral Exploration Organization of the country and the private sector have led to the discovery of 3 new mineral groups in the province. The mineral bitumen is promising at the stage of issuing the certificate of discovery and phosphate minerals and 9 exploration zones of rare earth elements in the stage of determining the areas.
He added: "Due to the lack of mineral exploration studies in the province to identify mineral potentials, development and exploration of new mineral zones by development organizations, especially the Geological Survey of Iran and Imidro is necessary."
Moradi reminded: the amount of definite extraction of minerals from the mines of the province last year is estimated at 18 million tons, which has a growth of 28.5% compared to 1997.
