Raw stone is harvested in Fars province
Managing director of one of the stone factories in Fars province: With the type of treatment we had, the value of stone has decreased and stone harvesting in the province is mostly raw.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Majid Tavakoli said: "Natural stones, which due to their minerals, are not harmful to health, also due to the variety of colors, textures and availability, have faced architects with a wide range of choices. Different types of buildings are efficient.
Tavakoli said: Iran is one of the rich countries in the discussion of decorative stones and has huge reserves of decorative stones in the world.
He added: "These stones are profitable both in terms of exports and domestic products, which adds value to the country's income."
The managing director of Kuh-e-Noor Pars stone complex factory stated: The reserves of decorative stones in Iran are about 5 billion tons, of which 500,000 tons are exported annually.
Tavakoli, stating that our country has the ability to produce 12 billion tons of decorative stones annually and reach the top five in the world, added: "Currently, we are ranked 20th in the world in terms of exports."
Pointing out that few countries have a variety of Iranian stones, he added: "Currently, most of the stone products in our country are from the provinces of East and West Azerbaijan, Fars, Kerman, Yazd, Lorestan and Isfahan."
The manager of Kuh-e-Noor Pars stone complex stated: Sang-e-Kuh-e-Noor Pars has started its activities in Fars province with the aim of creating entrepreneurship and providing specialized advice to the people and showing all kinds of building, decorative and facade stones.
Mohammad Reza Dehghanian said: "In the near future, CNC and metal gate machines will be set up to coordinate slabs to serve the people from the factory to the house."
He added that currently eight people are working directly and 15 people are indirectly working in this complex, adding: "In the near future, we will see stone training and specialized counseling by this complex virtually, and also until In less than two months, the online sales system of Noor Pars Mountain will be launched.
The chairman of the board of directors of Noor Pars Stone Complex said: "Thousands of years ago, stone entered human life in various forms and facilitated his life, so stone is an integral part of human history."
Seyyed Ahmad Hosseini said: the discussion of stone modeling has changed and is changing like other fashions, and as technology has advanced, stone has also entered more people's homes.
Referring to his goals, he said: "At first, we thought of having thousands of forces, and then by having the most diverse stones in this complex, we will be able to meet the needs of all people with any taste."
Hosseini pointed out that a step must be taken to solve the problem of unemployment, because unemployment is the mother of all problems, adding: "Our decision was to use local workers in all areas of our work."
In the end, the chairman of the board of directors of Sang Kooh Noor Pars Complex stated: In our factory located in Barmshour, we have produced more than a thousand meters daily and now we have reached 50% of our capacity.
