According to statistics related to the issuance of mineral exploration licenses in the first half of this year, compared to the same period last year, it increased by 8.7 percent to 475 items.

Isfahan, Kerman and South Khorasan exploration boom
The statistics show that the provinces of Isfahan, Kerman and South Khorasan each had the highest share compared to other provinces with the issuance of 39 exploration licenses in the first half of this year, and Fars with 38 and Sistan and Baluchestan with 36 points. Are placed next.
Last year, in the first six months, Kerman, South Khorasan and Yazd provinces had a higher share than other provinces with 53, 36 and 28 exploration licenses, respectively.
Gilan, Ilam and Alborz do not have exploration licenses
According to the Ministry of Industry, Gilan, Ilam and Alborz provinces did not have exploration licenses in the first half of this year, as in the same period last year, and Tehran province had one exploration license in the first half, while in the first six months of last year it was zero.
According to the report, the Islamic Republic is in the 15th place in the world with about 57 billion tons of mineral reserves, of which 37 billion tons are definite and the rest are probable, while an average of 40 million tons of minerals from 5,600 active mines annually. It is extracted that the share of construction materials is estimated at 60 to 65%.
