18.1% growth in nominal extraction rate of mineral butterflies

The nominal extraction rate of mining licenses in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year shows an increase of 18.1 percent.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, based on the statistical tables of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, this year in the period from April to September, 308 licenses were issued for the exploitation of the mine with a nominal extraction rate of 13 million and 954 thousand tons. It will provide 1,538 people, which is a 2.3% decrease in employment compared to the first half of last year.
A review of the relevant statistics shows that the number of licenses issued in the period of this report compared to the first half of last year has increased by 7.3 percent.
Last year, with the issuance of 287 mining licenses for the nominal extraction of 11 million 812.4 thousand tons, it provided employment for 2,598 people.
Fars has the highest number of exploitation licenses
According to the statistics issued by the ministry, in the first half of this year, Fars province had the highest share with 29 mining licenses, followed by Markazi and Isfahan provinces with 27 and 24, respectively.

According to the statistics of Fars province, with the employment of 294 people in the form of the mentioned licenses, it gained the largest share, followed by Kerman and East Azerbaijan with 245 and 213 people, respectively.
Khuzestan has the highest nominal extraction rate
Khuzestan province had the highest share in terms of nominal extraction based on exploitation licenses in the first half of this year with the figure of one million and 659 thousand tons, followed by East Azerbaijan with one million and 359 thousand tons and Fars with 901. 6,000 people are in the next categories.
According to the report, Iran ranked 15th in the world by identifying about 57 billion tons of mineral reserves, of which 37 billion tons are definite and the rest are probable. A mine is extracted whose share of construction materials is estimated at 60 to 65%.
