The banking system is tied to the destruction of production

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Gholamhossein Hosseininia said about the situation of cooperatives: "Last year, in a meeting with the Supreme Leader, he said that he believes a lot in cooperatives and described this sector as a favorable phenomenon for the economy and strategy." They emphasized networking in cooperatives and instructed the Minister of Cooperatives to take the issue of cooperatives seriously. Now we have to ask the Minister of Cooperatives how serious he was in pursuing the issues of cooperatives and what problems have been solved in this sector.
Adviser to the President of the Iranian Chamber of Cooperatives added: "Studies show that in this year not only nothing special happened to the cooperatives, but during this period we also witnessed silence from the Minister." Optimistically, due to the wide range of missions in the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, there is no capacity to handle cooperatives, so no attention is paid to cooperatives in the state channel.
He continued: "In these circumstances, more authority should have been given to cooperative organizations and a kind of delegation should have been given authority so that the organizations themselves could find strategies to solve problems." In this situation, when the government can not do any special work, it should hand over the fields and activities to the organizations, chambers and unions and give up this tenure, and if it does not intend to hand over, it should provide the minimum conditions for things to improve.
Hosseini Nia said: "Many prescriptions have been written for the economy in the world, but cooperatives have remained in place for the past 200 years, which shows that this sector plays an important role." More than 12 percent of the global community is made up of more than 3 million cooperatives that have been able to accommodate 10 percent of the world's employment. Turnover from the top 300 cooperatives in 2019 amounted to 2 thousand 34 billion dollars; These cooperatives have succeeded by raising micro-capital, networking, job creation and empowerment of individuals.
Advisor to the President of the Iranian Chamber of Cooperatives added: "It seems that there is a very high capacity in the cooperative sector that is not used in the country." Good development plans and laws are written in the country, but they are not used; For example, we have reduced the capacity of Article 44 only to the issue of divestitures, and we have even focused these divestitures on the functioning of the Privatization Organization, which, of course, has not been very successful.
Hosseini Nia stated: "We must return to the capacities of Article 44 and all government and public agencies and institutions must help the cooperative sector, and the parliament must perform its duties towards cooperatives by properly monitoring the implementation of laws."
Advisor to the President of the Iranian Chamber of Cooperatives added: The Ministry of Cooperatives must complete the document for the development of the cooperative sector, which has remained on the ground since 1392.
5 major problems of the cooperative sector
Referring to the problems of the cooperative sector, he said: "The unpredictability of the prices of raw materials and products is one of the major problems that has left production undecided, 30% due to sanctions and 70% due to internal mismanagement."
Hosseini Nia added: The next discussion is the difficulty of financing through banks. Banks in Iran are anti-development and it can be said that the reason for the underdevelopment of the country is the current banking system, which is bent on destroying production. Even in this way, they violate the principles of Islamic jurisprudence. Nowhere in the world are banks like to enter into a partnership agreement with anyone but only for profit!
Adviser to the President of the Chamber of Cooperatives said: "The next issue is the instability of laws and regulations and procedures governing business, which every day we see many different laws that have confused the activists of the production and cooperation sector."
He added: "Administrative processes and obtaining business licenses in the executive apparatus, is the next issue; While officials claim that the business environment is improving, the will to improve has remained at the level of senior managers and has not been extended to lower levels and the administrative system, and there is a lot of resistance that has caused virtually nothing special to happen in improving the business environment.
Hosseini Nia continued: "The relatively free production and supply of non-standard and counterfeit goods in the market is the next issue." One who wants to be systematic finds it so difficult to operate that it gets stuck, but on the other hand, non-standard and underground parts work easily at lower prices, and people are lucky enough to go to this part because of the low price. The issue poses a problem for both producers and consumers.
