More than 300 mines returned to production
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade: According to the plan to rehabilitate and activate small-scale mines closed in the country, 303 mines have been rehabilitated and returned to production since last year.

Gharibpour predicted: the statistics of inactive mines in different provinces will be updated and more grounds will be provided for revival.
The Ministry of Industry has previously stated that the number of active mines in the country is 5,600, from which an average of about 400 million tons of various minerals are extracted annually.
