During the first half of this year, the number of mining licenses issued by the mines increased by 7.3 percent and the employment of these licenses decreased by 2.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, during the first 6 months of this year, the nominal extraction rate of mining licenses issued by the mines was 13 million and 954 thousand tons, which compared to the first 6 months of last year has experienced a growth of 18.1 percent. During this period, the number of mining licenses issued was equal to 308, which has increased by 7.3% compared to the first half of last year.

At the same time, the employment of mining licenses issued during the first half of this year was 2,538 people, which has decreased by 2.3% compared to the same period last year.

Among the provinces of the country, Qazvin has the highest growth in number, nominal extraction and employment of mining licenses issued during the first half of the year.
