Establish a joint bank between Iran and Pakistan

Member of the Board of the Iran-Pakistan Joint Chamber: To facilitate foreign exchange transfers, the Central Bank of Iran and the Central Bank of Pakistan should reach an agreement and be able to open a way that the establishment of the Joint Bank can be in this direction.
"Our trade with Pakistan has been traditional for several years," said Mahmoud Tahi Dast, according to the Iran International Stone Exhibition. Even now, we do not have any foreign exchange relations with Pakistan, and everything is done in the traditional way.
He added: "To facilitate currency transfers, the Central Bank of Iran and the Central Bank of Pakistan should reach an agreement and be able to open a way that the establishment of a joint bank between Iran and Pakistan can be in this direction." Or Iran and Pakistan to declare a reference bank and be able to conduct banking transactions if this also happens and Pakistan can have foreign exchange transactions with us.
A member of the board of directors of the Iran-Pakistan Joint Chamber stated: "Previously, there were discussions about opening joint funds between Iran and Pakistan so that we could have foreign exchange transactions through these funds, but it remained the same and no action was taken." Of course, if our banking transactions are in the form of banking and LC, it will definitely be effective for our country's exports.
"Our trade with Pakistan is traditional," he added. There is probably some Iranian money for Pakistan's electricity and gas exports, the amount of which I do not know.
