During his visit to Pakistan, the Deputy Minister and Director General of the Trade Development Organization of Iran met with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Pakistan and discussed the holding of the Ninth Joint Trade Committee of the two countries hosted by the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade in Tehran next month.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hamid Zadboom, on the sidelines of the visit of a high-level delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by our Foreign Minister to Islamabad, met with Pakistan's Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Azzad Adar to hold the Ninth Joint Trade Committee. .

In this meeting, while planning and reviewing the important axes of trade, investment and transportation of the two countries, it was decided to hold the ninth meeting of the Joint Trade Committee of the two countries within a month, hosted by the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade in Tehran. A free trade negotiation committee between Iran and Pakistan, under the auspices of the Iran Trade Development Organization, should be formed in Tehran.

During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Ministry of Energy discussed with the Pakistani side the follow-up of the two countries' Joint Economic Commission on electricity exports, maritime transport, road and rail.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Pakistan are in charge of the Joint Economic Commission of the two countries.
