Mir Ashrafi said: "Among the neighboring countries bordering our country, 12 countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Turkmenistan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates were the export destinations of Iranian goods in the first seven months of the year." The largest exports to Iraq with 17 million 683 thousand 414 tons of goods worth 4 billion 854 million 992 thousand 693 dollars and then to the UAE with 8.5 million tons worth 2 billion 272 million dollars, Turkey With 4 million and 794 thousand tons and value of 1 billion and 489 million dollars, Afghanistan with 4 million and 77 thousand tons worth 1 billion and 325 million dollars and Pakistan with 1 million and 257 thousand tons worth 491 million dollars were the important export destinations of our country.
Regarding imports from neighboring countries, the Director General of Customs said: "Our country has imported from 10 neighboring countries during this period, the volume of our country's imports in terms of volume is eight million 592 thousand 550 tons and equal to eight billion 97 million and It was 786,365 dollars, which is 44% of the weight and 40% of the total value of the country's imports.
The Deputy Minister of Economy pointed out: Our country's imports are from its neighbors, UAE, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Turkmenistan and Turkey, of which our country imports the most from the United Arab Emirates and two 1,559,094 million, or 4,726,168,606, followed by Turkey with 2,234 million and Russia with 671 million.
Mirasharfi added: "Our country's exports to neighboring countries in terms of weight are nearly five times more than imports from these countries and the country's trade balance with positive neighbors is 3 billion and 422 million dollars, which is considered positive in line with the policy of paying attention to neighbors."
Regarding trade with countries that have a land border with our country, he said: 44% of the country's total exports in terms of weight, 47% in terms of value and 16% of the total weight of the country's imports and 12% of its value to Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan , Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Armenia, which have land borders with our country.
