The country's mining and mineral industries have the characteristics of a resilient economy and take advantage of high value-added capability, so it is expected to increase its share in the national economy by the end of the Sixth Development Plan, although productivity growth relies on up-to-date knowledge and companies. Knowledge is based.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, the issue of where the prerequisites for the growth of mining productivity and mining industries are located should be seriously considered, according to which you have the necessary planning.

To the extent that, according to the head of the Organization for the Development and Renovation of Mines and Mining Industries, cooperation with universities should be based on contracts that help increase productivity and emphasizes that if companies import from abroad, they require foreign companies. We were training the forces, today higher productivity rates were recorded in the mines and mining industries.

The fact is that the issue of imports along with continuous education has been neglected by the officials and planners of the executive apparatus in all cultural, social, economic, etc. fields for nearly four decades, and the situation developed in such a way that the Minister of Industry, Mines and The trade of the 11th government in 2016, on the occasion of Industry and Mining Day, demanded the import of foreign managers.

Emphasizing on the issue of implementing the training of specialized personnel, Gharibpour considered the acquisition of technical knowledge as a ground for using the capacities of exploration consortia, utilizing the existing capacities and also activating projects that were suspended during the sanctions period, which could result in growth and Seek to increase productivity rates.

He also points out that increasing the productivity of mines requires increasing the mineral extraction coefficient.

Today, based on the needs of communities, knowledge-based companies (startups) have been formed with the necessary speed, although in our country, activity in this field is considered as a new movement, but the need for credibility for the activity of these companies is undeniable and must be considered And planning in this direction.

Productivity growth requirements in mines

Regarding the requirements for productivity growth in mines, Gharibupour believes that the capacity of existing consortia in mine exploration should be used more, which can increase the productivity of the mining sector.

"Under sanctions, human resource development is one of the productivity approaches that needs to be addressed in planning," he said.

However, a review of the performance of the executive apparatus over the past four decades reveals that many apparatuses either did not have the necessary financial resources to develop education, or undertook low-cost training courses with minimal facilities.

Gharibpour recalled the implementation of a $ 3 billion mining project and mining industry with employment of 6,000 people last year and said: "Today, the issue of research should be given serious attention and given the necessary value to monitor the growth of organizations."

Today, the country's universities are divided into 10 regions by the Imidro Organization based on the mineral capacities of the provinces to be used in the mining and mining industries, but the implementation of this important issue must be continuously monitored in order to achieve the necessary efficiency.

Strategies to improve productivity

Imidro's Director of Education, Research and Technology also believes that improving productivity, integration and competitiveness of the mining and mineral industries is one of the pillars of the organization's nine strategies.

He states: If in the current situation of the country, the necessary attention is paid to the productivity sector in the field of mining, it will be considered an effective step in the country's economic growth.

Today, the number of active mines in the country is over 1,600, announced by the Ministry of Industry, but what is less considered is the efficiency and productivity of these mines.

Gholamreza Malataheri reminded: According to Article 4 of the Sixth Development Plan Law, at least 2.8% of the country's 8% economic growth must be obtained from the promotion of total factor productivity.

He said that according to the target of the Sixth Development Plan in the mining sector, the average annual growth of value added should be 8.8 percent and the average annual growth of employment should be 4.6 percent.

According to the Sixth Development Plan, the average annual growth of investment in the industry and mining sector should be 26.1% and the average productivity growth of all factors of production in the mining sector should be 2.4%.

He noted: "International statistics show the fact that our country needs a coherent plan to improve productivity."

Necessary to provide collective benefits, improve productivity

The head of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Iran Chamber had said on the issue of productivity: "Improving productivity has the effect of reducing the cost of goods and increasing the collective interest."

Bahram Shakoori considers the most important component for the private sector to be the competitiveness of production, the reduction of cost prices and the increase of more profits, and consequently the development of business by improving productivity.

He said: "If human resources and management are considered as part of the factors of production, the cost price will decrease."

Shakoori said: "Today, in the industrial world, the most products are produced at the lowest prices and in companies, waste has reached zero, while the productivity indicators of our country's private sector are closer to global indicators than the public sector.

According to the report, Iran has been extracting an average of 400 million tons of minerals from active mines over the past decade, with a share of 60 to 65 percent in construction materials.

The Islamic Republic is in the 15th place among the countries of the world in terms of identified reserves with a figure of about 57 billion tons, of which about 37 billion tons are definite and the rest are probable.
