According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Tavakoli added: "Most of the semi-active or stagnant mines in Khorasan Razavi are related to building materials minerals that operate seasonally."

He continued: "Semi-active to stagnant mines in Khorasan Razavi include mines of carcass stone, gypsum, sand, mountain mixture, which are highly dependent on government budgets and development projects, and the prevalence of corona and reduced construction activities in this semi-active province." The Deputy Head of Mines and Mining Industries of Khorasan Razavi Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: out of the total number of valid mining exploitation licenses in the province, 426 mines are active, including metal mines, industrial soil, decorative stone and mines, whose economic mechanism is justifiable. have.

He continued: The definite reserve of colony materials in the mines of Khorasan Razavi province is estimated at 2.77 billion tons, of which 1.2 billion tons are located in Khaf city and include 50% of the country's iron ore reserves.

He said: So far, 200,000 billion rials have been invested in the production of concentrate and pellets in the Khaf iron ore mining area in Khorasan Razavi.

Tavakoli added: The nominal amount of mining in Khorasan Razavi is 41 million tons per year, but the actual amount of mining in the province reaches 35 million tons per year.

He continued: so far, 1,100 billion rials have been invested in the mining sector of the province and 10,000 jobs have been created.

Acting Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Khorasan Razavi Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: In the first half of this year, 22 new mining licenses have been issued in Khorasan Razavi with a nominal extraction of 11.5 million tons per year and employment for 176 people.

He added: "Since the beginning of this year, the" activation of small-scale mines "project has been on the agenda of the province's Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, and so far five small stagnant mines that were plagued by market problems and bureaucracy have returned to production."

Tavakoli assessed the development of Khorasan Razavi mining infrastructure as desirable: The first step in this regard was the issuance of mining exploration licenses, which so far 40,000 square kilometers of the province's mining areas have been assigned to two private sector companies and four public sector companies for exploration operations.

He continued: "Currently, exploration operations in four mineral zones of Khorasan Razavi are being carried out by companies, and with the completion of their operations, 50% of the area of ​​the province's metal reserves will be assigned."

The head of the Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of the Khorasan Razavi Industry, Mining and Trade Organization said: The thickest copper belt in the world is located in Kashmar, Bardaskan and Bajestan cities of this province, which will be introduced as anomalies by the National Iranian Copper Company within a month. Exploration permit will be issued for the exploration operation in this mineral zone.

He announced the launch of a "single window" in cooperation with the Mining House and Khorasan Razavi Investment Services Center in Mashhad to reduce the administrative process related to mines with the permission of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade within the next month and added: Trustees are established and facilitate the process of responding to inquiries and issuing licenses so that mining licenses can be issued in the shortest possible time.

Tavakoli said: "So far, by using the capacity of Article 24 of the Frequent Mining Law and forming a dispute resolution committee, the problems of 6 valuable mines in the province that faced administrative problems and received answers to inquiries have been resolved and will be auctioned within the next 2 to 3 months." Also, 134 licensed mines in the province are on the auction list.
