Spokesman for the Parliamentary Committee on Industries and Mines: Of the 10,000 mines in the country, 4,000 are inactive. Some people have registered the mines in their own names, but have not taken any action to use them.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Hojjatollah Firoozi clarified about the situation of the mines in the country: "Some people, despite receiving mining licenses, did not take any action to use them, and only the documents related to the exploitation of mines in the market by Brokers are traded.
The Fasa MP added: "Since the income of the mines can replace the oil revenues, the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade is trying to oblige the people who imprison the mines and do not use them, to activate the mines or transfer them to another within a certain period of time."
According to the spokesman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industries and Mines, the mines should be handed over to the people so that this God-given blessing can be used for currency exchange, supply of raw materials needed by the country and release of national investments.
Criticizing the lack of attention to exploration in the field of mines, he added: "Planning for exploration in the field of mining should be one of the priorities of the Ministry of Silence because expanding the scope of studies and explorations can help make better use of the potential of mines."
The spokesman of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Majles considered the support of private sector investors and considering special facilities for them as another way to better use the mines and in explaining the situation of mines in Fars province said: due to limited explorations and studies in Fars province many mines It remains unknown, so factories are forced to import their raw materials from other cities, despite being available in the province.
