Non-oil exports are boosted
Underlining the need to try to strengthen non-oil exports, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said: "Last year, we became the first in the country in the non-oil export sector, which is a pleasant event."
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Khodadad Gharibpour on Saturday evening at a meeting to review the issues of the Andimeshk steel project in the meeting hall of Karkheh Dam added: "Last year we had $ 82 billion in exports from mining and mineral industries, which is a good thing.
He added: "In the context of sanctions, this trend is significant and the mining sector in these conditions, has shown itself more prolific than ever."
Explaining the efforts in the field of development and transformation in the field of industry and mining, he added: "Today, the large companies of the country have realized important industrial and economic steps by investing in various sectors."
Gharibpour added: large steel companies are investing in different regions of the country.
Referring to the capacity and position of the country's steel, the Deputy Minister of Industry said: "We are trying to make the most of this potential, to provide a platform for economic prosperity and job creation more than ever."
The representative of the people of Andimeshk in the Islamic Consultative Assembly also said: Andimeshk has good capacities in the fields of water, oil, gas, dams, roads and other fields.
Fereydoun Hassanvand added: despite these capacities and the efforts of city officials. This area still does not have proper employment and there are deprivations in different areas.
He added: "Serious efforts have been made in recent years to get out of this situation and big plans have been started."
Hassanvand said: "Andimeshk Zagros Steel Project is one of the important projects that, if realized, will create many job opportunities for the youth of this region."
He added: "If this project is financially strengthened, we will see a good leap in the implementation process."
He praised the four major steel companies in the country for the realization of this great economic plan and added: "The hope of the people of Andimeshk is to accelerate the process of completing these projects."
In another part, Hassanvand called for the support of Chenareh Andimeshk Mining Company and added: "By supporting this factory and its development, we will see positive results in economic prosperity and job creation in the tropical timber sector."
Visiting Andimeshk Zagros Iron Ore, Ferroalloy and Steel Concentrate Plant was one of the side programs of Deputy Minister Samat's visit to Andimeshk in the presence of the governor and representative of Andimeshk. Andimeshk Steel Complex will be implemented in two phases and its initial investment is $ 35 million and a capacity of 105,000 tons per year.
