2 million and 90 thousand tons of minerals were exported from Bushehr province
Head of Bushehr Province Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: During the first six months of this year, 2 million and 90 thousand tons of various mineral products worth $ 47 million were exported from Bushehr Province abroad, including the Persian Gulf countries.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Seyed Hossein Hosseini added: "There are 255 mines with exploitation licenses in the province, of which 144 units are active."
He stated: The mentioned mines are active in the field of extraction of various minerals such as gypsum, carcass stone, limestone and mountain and marl mix with approximately 1,400 jobs.
Hosseini continued: "Currently, there are 80 industrial units in the field of mineral processing with employment of more than 2,500 people in the province, which export some industrial products such as cement, clinker, granulated gypsum and hydrated lime to different countries." they do.
Referring to the various advantages of Bushehr province, he reminded: investing in the creation of various industries, especially the processing of minerals into related industrial products can be a good opportunity to invest in this province.
Hosseini said: "Considering the proximity of the province's ports and its proximity to the Persian Gulf countries, investing in the export of mineral products is of special importance in this sector."
