Acting Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of South Khorasan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: Determining the task of stagnant and inactive mines and handing them over to investors with a plan and qualification is one of the priorities of the Provincial Industry Organization.

According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, Hojjat Imanataleb on the sidelines of the meeting to determine the inactive and stagnant mines of Boshrouyeh city added: And assigned mines.

The Deputy Head of Mines and Mining Industries of the South Khorasan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization announced the investment of 299 billion and 838 million Rials in the mining sector of Boshrouyeh city so far and said: a total of 26 mining exploitation licenses have been issued in Boshrouyeh.

He stated that the annual nominal extraction of minerals in Boshrouyeh is about 395 thousand tons and specified: the total definite mineral reserves of this city is more than 31 million tons.

Iman Taleb added: Mining activities in this city create direct employment for about 200 people.

Referring to the mineral capacities of Boshrouyeh city, he said: granite, lead and zinc, hematite, industrial soils, calcite, marble, bentonite and carcass are among the most important minerals extracted in this city.

South Khorasan Mining Province has 11 cities and Bashravieh is 320 km from Birjand.
