According to Yarmohammadian, more than 500 exhibition titles were held in the country in 1398, but after the corona outbreak and until the end of the first six months of this year, only 30 exhibition titles were held.

Yarmohammadian emphasized that the exhibition companies of the country have made every effort to strictly observe the health protocols in holding exhibition events, and specified: The health supervisors of the Ministry of Health and the universities of medical sciences of the provinces have approved the protocols applied in holding exhibition events. Unfortunately, we see that health protocols are not observed in the passages, shopping malls and markets.

Hamid Zadboom called for more provincial exhibition companies to play a role in the economic planning of the provinces and added: "I will task the heads of the provincial industry, mining and trade organizations to assign a special place for planning and policy-making of the economic roadmap to the exhibition companies."

He continued: "Trade Development Organization is ready to provide the conditions for holding specialized and semi-specialized exhibitions in full compliance with health standards and protocols so that we do not see any more losses for the country's exhibition industry."
