In the first five months of this year, our country has exported more than 2 million 465 thousand 981 tons equal to 1 billion 307 million 706 thousand 246 dollars of all kinds of stones, plaster, sand and sand to the countries of the world.
According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, Seyed Ruhollah Latifi, the spokesman of the Customs, in explaining the export of stone, gypsum, sand of our country, said: In the first 5 months of this year, our country exported 2 million 465 thousand 981 tons of stones, gypsum, The amount is equal to 1 billion 307 million 706 thousand 246 dollars.
Latifi added: "Our export products of our country include: lime, gypsum, Induite gypsum, magnesium oxides, grains and marble powder, sandstone, cut stones, smooth sand, flint, marble, crystal porcelain, travertine Footstones, gravels, siliceous soils, natural sodium sulfate, clay, unitite, sand.
The Secretary of the Customs Information Council noted that these Iranian products have been exported to 40 countries, including: Iraq, Armenia, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, India, Pakistan, Kuwait, Indonesia. Georgia, Korea, Russia, Sudan, Ivory Coast, Hong Kong, Germany, Spain, Italy, Vietnam, Taiwan, Greece, Jordan, Malaysia, Thailand, Poland, Albania, Egypt, Georgia, China, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Kenya, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Tanzania, while China, Iraq and India are the main stone export destinations of our country.
Latifi added: "The United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Australia and France are the main exporters of sand and stone in the world, which has more than 70% of the world market."
