Damage to the mining bed with brokerage
According to the law of the Islamic Republic, any human being can explore a mineral. There is no difference between a person who works on a farm and a person who works in a city. In fact, they are known as discoverers and have the right to explore.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, there have always been people who have entered the economic activity as brokers and have been able to make huge profits even more from producers. The mining sector is not far from this trend and thus we see the presence of brokers and intermediaries in this sector. The existence of huge mineral reserves in the country and the huge profits that are obtained from the extraction and production of these materials, has provided the ground for the activities of brokers in this field. However, there are different opinions about the activities of mining intermediaries from mining activists.
Sell engineering points to brokers
Seyed Sohrab Hosseini, Deputy Chairman of the Industry, Mining and Trade Commission of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Youth Association, lamented the sale of technical and financial qualifications obtained by qualified individuals and said: , While some engineers earn points by circulating real or fake accounts and then handing them over to someone else for only revenue.
A member of the board of directors of the Union of Non-Oil Drillers emphasized: There are many engineers who even delegate their privileges to incompetent and incompetent people; As a result, many areas fall into the hands of incompetent people in vain, and in the end, no one can use them any more.
The Deputy Chairman of the Industry, Mining and Trade Commission of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce's Young Entrepreneurs Association stated that this phenomenon has often hit the mining platform: "When we, as miners, seek inquiries from natural resources or related organizations, we face opposition." When we ask the reason for such an attitude, we are faced with the concern of organizations about the presence of brokers and intermediaries and their occupation of the field.
Opposition is sometimes good
Referring to the importance of investors in mining, Hosseini said: "It is good to oppose brokerage on the one hand, but on the other hand it contradicts large-scale mining."
He stated: According to the law of the Islamic Republic, any human being can be a mineral explorer. There is no difference between a person who works on a farm and a person who works in a city. In fact, they are known as explorers and have the right to explore. The discoverer can also attract investors and, due to the weakness in accepting high costs, can share or cede its range with others.
The Deputy Chairman of the Industry, Mining and Trade Commission of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Tehran Chamber of Commerce pointed out: If we insist on exploring the mines, good excavations should be done, which requires extensive investment. When a miner has limited capital, he seeks investment that can help him in the mining and exploitation sector.
Mining needs cooperation
Hosseini continued by stating that mining activity is carried out in a cycle that requires cooperation and this requires different people: the one who has explored, should have expertise and all its focus is on exploration. Then the sale of the mineral requires another person. These people are connected to each other through people we call brokers.
Emphasizing that if we have a specialized broker, it is also very good, he said: Do not we go to a real estate consultant to rent a house? Don't we go to the dealer to buy a car? How can we not introduce them as brokers but call them brokers through mineral intermediaries!
The deputy chairman of the Industry, Mining and Trade Commission of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce's Young Entrepreneurs Association continued: "Anyone who has discovered a mineral has a natural right to seek an investor." Unfortunately, we do not treat anyone who discovers a mineral as a discoverer.
A broker is a mining consultant
The vice-chairman of the Industry, Mining and Trade Commission of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Youth Association said: "If the registration of the area is done by a natural or legal person, there is no problem in using the applicants for investment in the mining sector or referring to brokers." Unfortunately, since we do not accept brokers and we do not have specialized brokers in the country, everyone raises prices and inflates the market.
Hosseini added: "If we consider brokers as mining consultants and recognize them and use mining consultants instead of brokers like in developed countries, they can also help the development of mining in the country;" Otherwise, brokerage is a bad thing and can damage the body of the mining economy, because as we see in the present situation, there are a number of areas in the hands of incompetent people who do not have the ability and will to work.
Intermediaries, the agent of development
Aziz Mirzaeian, a member of the Mining House, said that buying and selling mining licenses will lead to the development of mining activities. "There are different views and perspectives in the field of brokerage," he said. In a way that some consider it negative and some look at it with a positive view.
He added: "Buying and selling mining licenses can play a positive and significant role in the development of mining activities."
Due to the fact that the mining activity is in a critical situation, the need for huge investments in this field is strongly felt. Mirzaeian continued: "Those who provide the opportunity to invest in mining areas cause the growth and development of mines."
A member of the Mining House said: "I believe that those who buy licenses will bear the risk of heavy investment and increase mineral production and prosperity in this field." The start of exploration and extraction of a mine also provides employment for job seekers.
last word...
According to mining experts, brokerage is not a negative thing at all, and like other countries, we must define brokers and promote their status as economic actors. Experts believe that brokers in our country make more profit in the field of mining than producers and miners due to the weak policies of the government. If the government supports mining activists and provides facilities for them, the role of brokers as profitable actors will be completely diminished. One of the positive roles of brokers is their presence alongside the miner. Since mining requires a lot of capital and the miner can not do it alone, the presence of brokers in this area is needed.
On the other hand, we can point to the negative role of brokers in registering mining areas and their inability to grow mining. Experts believe that the registration of areas by incompetent people who do not have sufficient capital and knowledge needed to explore and extract minerals can affect mining activities.
