Export of granite and marble to Iraq
Vice President of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce: The import of 29 items of agricultural products has been banned by the Iraqi government.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Shahla Omori stated: "Accordingly, Iranian traders are asked not to load the prohibited goods according to the list announced by Iraq."
He continued: "Traders' knowledge of the import bans to Iraq will make the process of exporting other goods to this country run smoothly."
The Secretary of the Government-Private Sector Dialogue Council of Khuzestan Province, pointing out that the date crop is one of the items whose import to Iraq is permanently prohibited, added: cucumber, yellow corn, fodder, eggplant, cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, kenar, potatoes, Lettuce, garlic, squash, peppers, eggs, live chicken, tomatoes, turnips and beets are some of the items that Iraq has banned from importing.
Regarding other products banned for import to Iraq, Amouri said: Slaughtered whole chicken, honey, frozen seafood, watermelon, melon, green beans, barley, fodder, wheat, cattle and sheep, industrial fodder and date juice are also prohibited items. They are entering Iraq.
The head of the Ahwaz Chamber of Commerce noted: On the first day of the Chadaba border operation this week (Sunday), one hundred and twenty-one Iraqi trucks carrying a variety of Iranian goods amounting to three thousand eight hundred and thirty-eight tons entered the country.
He reminded: isogum, ceramic tiles, marble and granite, onions and fruits, disposable tableware, plastic products, crystal and glass, polyethylene pipes, carpets and rugs, white cement, ionolite, gypsum, pickles and pickles, tomato paste Wafer and toffee biscuits, sourdough and raisins were among the products exported to Iraq.
