Iran-Oman agreement to increase sea lines
Chairman of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce: The changes made in the Omani cabinet promise more economic relations with Iran.
According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, the first meeting of the Trade Facilitation, Transportation and Logistics Commission of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce was held in the presence of the chairman of the joint chamber and members of the commission, and the board was elected.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mohsen Zarabi, referring to the appropriate conditions of trade and economic relations with Oman, said: "With the new changes in the cabinet of the Oman government, which was created by the order of Sultan Haitham, we will definitely see an increase in trade between the two countries." The appointment of Mr. Qais Al-Yousef, former Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce, as Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Development, as well as the appointment of the former Minister of Industry and Trade, as Chairman of the Oman Free and Special Economic Zones Organization. The Chairman of the Joint Chamber pointed out the importance of the mining sector as one of the five key axes in the five-year development plan of Oman and said that due to the rich mineral potential of Oman in the mining sector and the importance of this area, changes in the cabinet structure of the Oman government. The Ministry of Energy and Mining was also formed.
The head of the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce also referred to the advisory role of the Joint Chamber's specialized commissions and said: "It is necessary for the commission to enumerate problems and obstacles to facilitate trade relations between the two countries in three areas: export to Oman, re-export and import through Oman is output-oriented. According to him, transportation and logistics are an integral part of trade and transportation and logistics infrastructure should be developed by successful Iranian companies in Omani ports.
