Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Hormozgan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: Koosha Ahmadi exploration zone in Hajiabad city and Bashagard zone in the province has been assigned.

According to the International Stone Exhibition of Iran, Ebrahim Saadini added: Kusha Ahmadi exploration zone with an area of ​​two thousand and seventy-seven square kilometers and Bashagard area with an area of ​​five thousand six hundred and sixty-nine square kilometers by the Organization for Development and Renovation of Mines and Mineral Industries of Iran (Imidro ) Was studied and researched using new technologies on a regional scale.

He stated: At the end of the identification and search phase, an exploration license will be issued for the promising areas determined in the mentioned zones for exploration operations, including the exploration phase and details.

Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Hormozgan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization stated: These areas with an area of ​​129.96 square kilometers are located in Bashagard exploration zone and three promising areas with an area of ​​238.73 square kilometers are located in Koosha Ahmadi zone.

Saadini said: "According to the initial study of the Koosha Ahmadi and Bashagard areas, it has more capacity to explore chromite and manganese deposits."

He reminded: after inserting promising areas in the mines cadastre system, the rest of Kuhshah Ahmadi and Bashagard exploration zones will be liberated in the cadastre system on the 8th of October this year.

The Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Hormozgan asked the applicants with the required technical and financial qualifications to apply for an exploration license in the mentioned areas in accordance with the relevant instructions and regulations through the cadastral website at cadaster.mimt.ov.ir.

According to the information published by the Hormozgan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, there are one hundred and twelve mining areas with exploration licenses, twenty-five mines with exploration licenses and two hundred and twenty-six mines with exploitation licenses in this province with total reserves in excess of one and a half billion. There are tons and about three thousand people work directly in these mines.

In Hormozgan, 20 types of minerals can be explored and the basic mines of this province include gypsum, iron ore, salt rock, chromite rock and red soil.
