A Memorandum of Understanding on the Development of Industrial and Trade Cooperation was signed between the Small Industries Organization and the Industrial Towns of Iran and the China International Small Industries Exhibition.

According to the Iran International Stone Exhibition, at the signing ceremony of this memorandum, which was held online, Mohsen Salehnia, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade and Managing Director of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran and Wuhong, Deputy Director General of the Industry and Information Technology Organization Guangdong China explained the reasons for drafting and signing the MoU.

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, while emphasizing the development of cooperation between small industries of the two countries, said: "Considering that the Small Industries Organization of Iran and Industrial Towns and the China International Small Industries Exhibition have had successful cooperation in recent years, Sufficient to form industrial and commercial relations.

Mohsen Salehnia added: "So far, more than fifty Iranian companies have participated in this exhibition, which, while offering products in the Chinese market, has resulted in memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements."

Referring to the plan of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran to participate in the China International Small Industries Exhibition, he added: "Before the corona crisis, we made many plans so that Iranian companies could actively participate in the exhibition, but due to the corona pandemic, We were looking for new patterns of cooperation and presence in the exhibition.

Increasing the participation of Iranian companies

The Chairman and CEO of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran continued: "Currently, we are trying to increase the participation of Iranian companies with the cooperation of the Chinese side and expand cooperation by signing this memorandum."

Salehinia expressed hope that the two sides would maximize their partnership with the aim of implementing the agreements by sharing best practices and facilitating cooperation between the two countries' private sectors.

"Iran is our important economic and trade partner in West Asia, which has had very good cooperation with China in the economic and trade fields," said the deputy director general of the Guangdong Information Industry and Technology Organization of China, while thanking the support of Iran's Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization in recent years.
