The Minister of Roads and Urban Development, recalling the emphasis of the Supreme Leader in a meeting with members of the government board that the work started in the government regarding housing should be completed in the same government, said: Completion of the National Housing Action Plan and government commitments is a religious duty. Each one of us is. As the President has emphasized, they are constantly pursuing the issue of housing.
A member of the cabinet of the twelfth government stated: The general managers of roads and urban planning have until the end of September to finalize the grounds for the implementation of the national housing action plan.
Eslami explained: In the last meeting of the Supreme Council of Urban Planning and Architecture of Iran, we delegated the authority to join the areas to the Provincial Planning and Development Council, and this delegation is a shortcut, which of course has conditions. You have to be careful not to be undisciplined. In this sense, proper planning must be done regarding the implementation of the National Housing Action Plan. Areas must be created and constructed to make it a lasting and glorious work.
He emphasized: in the implementation of the National Housing Action Plan, hasty, non-committed and non-engineering work is not accepted at all. Therefore, a good and acceptable plan should be selected for them and consultants should undertake the design work so that the work is defensible. Requirements must also be observed. In this sense, non-interference with boundaries, construction of structures on faults, as well as aquifers must be observed.
The Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: "Currently, there is no financial or banking problem regarding the National Housing Action Plan." The Bank Facilitation has been established to provide facilities to the developers of the National Action Plan. We asked the bank to provide the first installment to the builders by starting work and equipping. Eligible individuals should be identified and encouraged to open an account and make an initial deposit as soon as possible so that their files can be filed with banks. In this way, the funds that are given to the banks will be injected into the projects.
Eslami continued: "These movements must be pursued in a balanced way and we must not allow time to pass." Therefore, informing the eligible applicants, ensuring that the people have been informed, encouraging and guiding the people to open an account, deposit money, should be concluded with the bank contractor. This should be done continuously.
He stressed the implementation of agreements between the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and other ministries, including the Ministry of Education for Farhangian housing, the Ministry of Defense for housing the armed forces and the Ministry of Labor, Cooperation and Social Welfare for housing workers and pensioners.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support and the Ministry of Education.
