Ninety-nine mines are active in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari
Head of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization: Currently, ninety-nine mines are active in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Sajjad Rostami, pointing out that the development of mines has a large capacity to create employment in this province, said: "Currently, there are one hundred and seventy-eight mines in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari."
He said: "Currently, ninety-nine mines are active in the province and seventy-nine mines are inactive."
The head of the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization stated: Activating the closed mines is one of the most important programs of this organization in order to increase production this year.
"The problems of inactive mines are being investigated and we are trying to solve the problems of these mines," he said.
The head of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization added: Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari mines are active in the field of mineral extraction, including gypsum, carcass stone, limestone, water salt, refractory soil and so on.
