The need to identify stagnant mines
The spokesman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stressed the need to identify the stagnant mines of East Azerbaijan and said: the capacity of the mines of this province should be used.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohammad Hossein Farhangi stressed the need to delegate legal percentages of mining revenues to the provinces at a meeting of the East Azerbaijan Mining Council at the East Azerbaijan Governor's Office, noting that the export of mineral products should be facilitated.
The representative of the people of Tabriz, Azarshahr and Osko in the parliament, referring to the law of the Sixth Development Plan, stated: According to paragraph c of article forty-three of this law, the specified percentages from the sale of mines and their pollution duties should be delegated to the provinces.
Referring to the high mining talents and capabilities in East Azerbaijan province, he said: "Stagnant mines should be identified in the cities and the necessary decisions should be made about them in the meetings of the provincial mining council."
Referring to the place of consumption of mineral revenues, Farhangi said: "These resources should be used in the field of study, identification and exploration of mines, as well as the field of completing the export of mining products and attracting private sector participation in mining development projects."
