Mulja stone mine of Gilan plain was revived
The Deputy Minister of Industries and Mines of the Guilan Industry, Mining and Trade Organization announced the revival and start of work on the Malja Dasht stone quarry in the province of Rudsar.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Manouchehr Sadafi stated: This mine started its activity with a production capacity of seventy-four thousand tons of carcass stone per year.
He described the reactivation of the mines in the year of the production leap as an important step towards achieving the goals of the year: Certainly; The reopening of this mine will have a positive effect on providing part of the materials needed for development projects in Amlash city and surrounding cities.
He pointed out: According to the vote of the provincial council of mines, subject to the fulfillment of obligations for the payment of government salaries and also activation, this mine has been disqualified.

Rudsar city is located seventy-five kilometers east of the center of Gilan province.
