The Deputy Minister of Industry of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade explained the details of the ministry's plan to launch a production line for bus, truck, tractor and truck chassis tires.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki said about the solution of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade to solve the problem of shortage of heavy vehicle tires: in the first four months of this year compared to the same period last year, with 30% growth in light tire production And heavy has been accompanied.
He continued: "Last year, we started the production plan of 300,000 TBR heavy tires, which is in the final stages of launching the technology sector, and due to the corona outbreak, it has not yet reached mass production."
The Deputy Minister of Industry of the Ministry of Industry added: "The investor is pursuing to be able to return this project to the production circuit and to be able to use 300,000 domestically produced heavy tires for buses and trucks."
He reminded: "Another plan is to set up a heavy tire production line in another tire manufacturing company, in which one hundred and fifty to two hundred thousand heavy tires are produced annually."
According to Sadeghi Niaraki, machines for the production of this number of tires and molding machines are also being prepared, which we hope will enter the production circuit within the next year.
He emphasized: in addition to these two projects, rubber production projects are also among the projects called by the Ministry of Silence for the presence of investors in the production sector.
"If the two projects are fully operational, we could produce 500,000 heavy-duty tires a year," he said. There was already a production capacity of one million heavy tires in the country.
The Deputy Minister of Industry Affairs of the Ministry of Industry said: The annual consumption of heavy tires in the country is two to two million and two hundred thousand tires. Let's produce inside.
He pointed out: "In the passenger sector, we do not need to import light tires at the moment and we are only importing in rims of sixteen or seventeen inches and above, and even for such rims, many domestic tire companies have started investing in production." They have ridden this model; These vehicles are generally semi-chassis, power SUV and CUV (crossover or long-wheelbase vehicles).
Sadeghi Niaraki stated: We are also looking to implement projects to produce heavy deadly tires inside.
Regarding the supply of imported rubber currency, he said: The Deputy Minister of Internal Trade of the Ministry of Silence is also constantly following up; The deputy regularly informs the central bank about the forms of heavy tire importers so that the currency they need can be allocated, and this is done on a weekly basis.
