Eight inactive mines in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari returned to the production cycle

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mehrdad Ghasemi added: "Efforts have been made to invite the exploiters of the province's mines and hold joint meetings to solve the problems of inactive mines in the province, and good steps have been taken in this regard so far."
He added: "In this regard, this year the number of mines in the province has increased from ninety units to ninety-eight mines and the province's mineral production has increased by seven percent to more than one million and three hundred thousand tons."
Ghasemi stated that preliminary explorations have been carried out in ninety-nine percent of the province, and specified: in the northern regions of the province, the highest level of exploration has been base metals.
The Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Industries of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Industry, Mining and Trade Organization also announced the study of 500 square kilometers of Saman and Bon cities in the current year and said: Six promising areas of base metals including gold, silver, iron, copper and manganese have been identified. Ghasemi announced that the most important active mines in the province are related to decorative stones and carcasses and added: "Soil-burning is one of the other important mineral products of the province that is sent to eight provinces of the country."
According to this report, the annual income of the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari mines sector in the Tadbir and Omid government has increased by thirty-five percent, equivalent to twelve billion rials, compared to the previous government.
Six hundred and seventy-one billion rials have been invested in the mining sector of this province and more than eight hundred jobs have been created.
