Economist: At one time we were supposed to have sixty to seventy business advisors in the country, but now we have only three business advisors.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Behzad Khosravi, an economic expert, stated: In the field of economic diplomacy, in our country's law, economic advisors are defined as diplomats.

He continued: "In the world, economic consultations are entrusted to the private sector, and businessmen in every country have the role of economic advisors, which is not the case in our country, and the only way to resolve this issue is for the parliament to address this shortcoming and amend this law."

The economic expert said: "Business advisors in the world carry out various activities, one of these activities is to study the economic needs of the country of origin and destination. For example, in South Korea, the economic advisor is selected from well-known and highly experienced businessmen." To do a lot of effective actions for the benefit of their country, one of which is to hold large international exhibitions.

Khosravi, stating that other countries have different ways to strengthen their international economy, said: "One of the other ways to help the economic advisory sector is to establish local advisors in the destination country, for example, South Korea has more than 200 local advisors in Turkey." Or Turkey has more than 200 local advisers in Russia, which has increased the exports of these countries.

The economist said: "Our country was supposed to have sixty to seventy business advisers, but at one point we reached twenty-two advisors, then six advisors, and now we have three advisors."

He continued: "In the current situation, the officials should pay attention to the neighboring countries so that we can continue the country's exports during the sanctions."

Khosravi said: "Every time we have had an active economic advisor, the country's exports have exceeded the expected level. For example, in Afghanistan, we have had active economic advisers that have caused exports to this country to exceed four billion dollars."

Noting that the main trustee of economic advisers in the country is still unknown, the economist said: "Various agencies are active in this field, including the Deputy Minister of Economy, the Confederation of Trade Development, the Chamber of Commerce and the International Trade Department." It is not yet clear who is the main trustee of this field and it is not clear which body should be responsible for the shortcomings of this field, a knot that can only be untied by the officials of the Islamic Consultative Assembly by amending the law.

Khosravi said: "Another issue that has made us not have a strong economic advisor is determining the budget in this area. For example, some officials say that at one point we did not have an active economic advisor in a country just because of two billion tomans, which is very unfortunate." Is.

He continued: "Due to the lack of budget of several billion tomans, the country should not incur losses of billions of dollars, while we can import large financial resources at a low cost in sanctions."

In the end, Khosravi said: the special attention of the government and the Islamic Consultative Assembly to the field of economic advisors and resolving legal issues and the budget of this sector can help the country's economy and lead the country to growth and prosperity.
