Re-launch of 21% of inactive industrial units in the country
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade: Of the total production units located in the towns and industrial areas of the country, nine thousand eight hundred units are inactive, which is about twenty-one percent of the total production units have been put into operation.
According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, Mohsen Salehinia added: "According to the plans made this year, 1,500 production units in the country are scheduled to return to the production cycle, and so far we have been able to revive 460 production units. It provides employment for more than eight thousand people.
Regarding the development of industrial infrastructure in the country, he continued: "This year, due to internal constraints, especially restrictions on development resources, programs based on the implementation of projects and participatory measures aimed at providing the infrastructure of industrial estates were on the agenda."
Salehinia added: The programs that were decided to be implemented in coordination and cooperation with the relevant executive institutions, the Program and Budget Organization and internal resources, in combination. Accordingly, it was decided that the relevant units should put the implementation of joint projects on the agenda to supply water and electricity to industrial and production units.
The head of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran stated: During this period, the development of infrastructure has been pursued from two aspects; In one dimension, attention has been paid to physical development, in which various craftsmen, manufacturing companies and entrepreneurs interested in working in demand-driven points come to us with the permission of the relevant authorities. Our effort is to provide a place for the production units of this group. In the current situation in different provinces, there is a very high demand for the construction of industrial units in industrial estates, which we try to develop infrastructure in eight hundred and fifty towns and industrial areas by physically developing the sites and observing the existing environmental issues and regulations.
Salehinia said: "Another aspect is the development of the infrastructure of the country's production and industrial units." The provision of infrastructure such as water, electricity, access roads and fiber optic network is defined in this section. In the past few years, desirable measures have been taken to develop this infrastructure, especially in the field of water and electricity, with the coordination and participation of the provinces.
He added: the development of units located in towns and industrial areas or new units that want to be located in industrial towns need to provide water and electricity. According to the interaction with the Ministry of Energy and the regional water and electricity companies of the provinces of the country and the company of industrial estates, action is taken to provide them with water and electricity.
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade emphasized: Providing liquidity is a problem for many production units. Based on the arrangements made, these units can provide part of the liquidity through receiving bank facilities.
Salehinia added: "Currently, the share of production and industrial units in the country from receiving bank facilities is about thirty-one percent, and it is necessary to allocate a larger share of banking facilities to the country's production and industry."
He continued: "Considering the position of production in the country's economy and employment and the fact that production units are facing a lack of liquidity to supply raw materials and equipment, it is necessary to increase thirty-one percent of bank facilities to industry to forty percent."
The head of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran said: "According to the current statistics, in some production units of the country that are active in the field of home appliances, we are witnessing an increase in production figures; In addition, according to the plans made and solving the problems of production and industrial units by the end of this year, we will see the realization of a production leap.
