The issuance of industrial exploitation licenses in the country during the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year, decreased by fifteen percent. At the same time, the issuance of mining licenses was accompanied by a growth of four and one percent.

According to the International Iranian Stone Exhibition, during the first quarter of this year, one thousand one hundred and fifty-eight industrial exploitation licenses were issued, which has decreased by fifteen percent compared to the same period last year. During this period, seven thousand three hundred and seventy-three items of industrial establishment licenses were issued, which has increased by twenty-four and seven percent compared to the first quarter of the previous year.

Also, during the first quarter of this year, the issuance of mining exploration licenses decreased by fourteen and two percent, reaching two hundred and five items. At the same time, one hundred and three certificates of discovery were issued for mineral reserves, which is accompanied by a decrease of eight percent compared to the same period last year. During this period, the issuance of exploitation licenses has reached one hundred and twenty-six items with a growth of four and one percent.

Regarding the issuance of licenses for technical and engineering services during the first quarter of this year, we should mention a drop of eight and one percent, so that only fifty-seven licenses were issued during this period. The issuance of permits for the establishment of the Industrial and Mineral Research Center also fell by 75 percent, and only one permit was issued this spring.

The issuance of research and development certificates also decreased by sixty-four and two percent during the first quarter of this year to twenty-four cases. Meanwhile, R&D licenses fell 14 percent to 30.
