Farshid Farzanegan, President of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce, emphasized on the economic relations between the two countries after the UAE peace with the Zionist regime: "Economic relations should be separate from political positions." Emphasizing that after China, the UAE is the most important country in Iran's trade relations, he said: "In the exchanges between the two countries, four and a half billion dollars are Iran's exports and eight and nine billion dollars are imports from the UAE, in other words, trade volume between the two countries." Referring to the major import and export goods between the two countries, he said: "Until last year, petrochemicals, minerals, industrial products and industrial machinery and agricultural products were Iran's main exports to the UAE."
The head of the Iran-UAE Joint Chamber of Commerce also stressed the performance of the UAE exchange offices: "Currently, there are no problems with the UAE exchange offices, and the only place that does the transfer faster than the night is the UAE exchange offices." None of the countries in the Persian Gulf, not even Oman, has this function for Iran.
He went on to say that the UAE is not the lifeblood and vital artery of money: "Re-export and re-import are from the UAE, because the UAE has become a regional hub in the field of import and export."
